Music Lesson Options
We offer lessons for students between the ages of 5 and 65.
Options are available in the following settings:
- At-Home Music Lessons - These are
exactly what they sound like - music lessons in your own
home! After a thorough assessment we assign a teacher
that's suitable to the needs of the student, and they come directly
to you. These lessons are available from 3:00 - 9:00 on week days,
and 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM on Saturdays.
- Homeschool Music Lessons - These are
available in both the homeschool family's home and at registered
homeschool buildings, when available. In addition to the
standard teaching hours, lessons are also often available during
the day from 9:00 AM - 3:00PM. If you are a registered
homeschooler, we can bill your homeschool organization directly for
lessons. Learn more about the homeschool
music program.
- Private School Lessons - We have a
select number of schools that we provide after-school music
programs to. If you are registered at St.
Catherine's Elementary, Urban Academy, or BC Christian
Academy we offer both private and group lessons, as well as
several specialty programs. Additionally, a portion of the
proceeds goes to support additional arts programs at the
school. Students of these schools may also choose to have
lessons in their own home, when available. Lessons are
available from 3:00 - 9:00 on week days, and 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM on
Saturdays.
What Instruments Do You Teach?
We currently provide lessons on Piano, Guitar, Voice (Singing),
Drums, Violin, and Bass Guitar.
What Styles Do You Teach?
We've deliberately hired teachers with a wide range of
experience to draw upon. With their experience combined, our
teachers cover every major genre of music including Classical, Pop,
Rock, Folk, Jazz, Blues, Metal, Grunge, and many Latin
styles. Part of our student-teacher matching process involves
discovering which type of music you are most interested in learning
and fitting you with a teacher that is well-versed in that
genre.
How Much Does it Cost?
You'd be suprised about how affordable it is have quality music
lessons in your own home. Because we don't have to pay for
expensive buildings and that goes along with them, we can offer our
mobile lessons at a price that's comparable
to other local high-quality music schools.
How Do I Know That I'll Get a Teacher That's Suitable For
Me?
Unlike anywhere else, we have a proprietary Student-Teacher
matching process that allows us to recommend the teacher that is
best suited to your your personality type, learning style,
motivators, past music experience, and inherent abilities. We
provide this at no cost to you as our way of putting our money
where our mouth is. Once you experience a teacher that's been
specifically selected for you, you will never want to go back
generic lessons again.
